1.1 The details of the design and content and the prices are correct at the time of publication, but are subject to change without notice.

1.2 Cardiff Council reserves the right to cancel or reschedule courses, including changing venue of courses without penalty or liability if there are bookings which it deems to be insufficient, or for reasons outside its control.  Cardiff Council will try to notify participants as soon as reasonably possible if a course has to be cancelled or venue changed.

1.3 Invoices are due for payment within 30 days of the invoice.  Time of payment shall be of the essence and accordingly Cardiff Council may treat failure to pay any of its invoices on time as a repudiation of the contract on your part and may also treat as discharged from its own contractual obligations.  If no payment is received Cardiff Council will assume cancellation of booking and contracted terminated or reserve the right to charge interest from the due date until payment.

1.4 Should you have any special requirements relating to audio and/or visual presentations please inform us at the time of booking. We will endeavour to meet your requirements as far as possible.


2.1 In respect of cancellation by Cardiff Council a full refund will be given upon cancellation of any course.

2.2 Participant substitutions can be accepted, without charge, at any time provided that the substitute confirms attendance at least 48 hours before the training event.

2.3 The participant has a right to cancel attendance by notifying Cardiff Council in writing.  Cancellations must be received in writing 30 days before the date of the event.  Cancellations received after this time or not put in writing will be subject to full delegate fee, which will also be charged in the event of non attendance. 


3.1 In-House training course can produce significant savings where a client has a number of participants wishing to attend.  Fees for these courses will be provided on request.  There is a minimum delegate requirements of 10 delegates or a minimum charge equivalent to having 10 delegates.


4.1 The details and requirements for the in-house training course will be agreed at the time of the course booking.  In general however, in additional to the agreed course fees we ask the client to provide and/or pay for the following:

4.1.1 The training venue, including audio and visual equipment.

4.1.2 All meals and refreshments during the course

4.1.3 Travel and accommodation for the trainer(s).


5.1 All intellectual property, marketing and other rights including copyright in all systems, programs, standards, techniques, course manuals, case studies and visual aids or documents provided to the participant by Cardiff Council or produced, developed and/or applied by Cardiff Council or its staff pursuant to this contract shall remain vested in Cardiff Council.

5.2 Course manuals, case studies, visual aids and documents are copyright and may not be reproduced nor disclosed to a third party in any form without Cardiff Council's express permission in writing.
